- “Affiliate” is an entity that belongs to the CACD group.
- “Personal data” means any information or set of information by which someone could identify you as a specific, identifiable individual. Personal data does not include data that is encoded or anonymized.
- “Non-personal data” collectively refers to all information we collect that is not Personal data, including Usage data, demographic data and de-identified Personal data.
- “User information” is your Personal data, and Non-personal data collectively.
- Application of this Privacy policy. This Privacy policy applies to (a) our entire range of services; (b) Site, applications and online services (“Services”); (c) conferences, contests, events, enrolment, empanelment, membership, or surveys; and (d) awards programmes offered by us.
- Consent for the collection and use of Personal data and your rights. By using the Services, you consent to collection, use and sharing of your Personal data and agree to the terms of this Privacy policy. However, you have the right to withdraw a given consent regarding the processing of your personal data at any time, with effect from the time of the withdrawal. - Data collection and its use. There are various information we may collect from or about you, including (a) Personal data; and (b) Non-personal data.
(A) Personal data. We collect your Personal data for enabling you to use the Services provided by us, calibrate consumer interest in our services, inform you about events, offers and updates, troubleshoot problems, customize user experience, detect and protect us against error, fraud and other criminal activity, enforce our terms and conditions, regulatory purposes & reporting and as otherwise described to you at the time of collection of such information. - Tracks Data that is not personal in nature, such as web browser and operating system details, browsing habits, demographical and geographic data or other similar data may be logged and used to analyze and extrapolate data about general user behavior within the CACD website. Such extrapolations and statistics may be made public, however, they cannot be tracked to individual users. IP addresses are not linked to anything that can help identify the user. Neither are IP addresses, except in rare occasions, handed out to the service providers or third parties.
This Privacy policy only covers information collected through the Services and via direct communications between you and us, and does not cover any information collected otherwise, including when you call, write, or communicate with us in any manner other than through the Services.
- Sharing of data about you. We may share your Personal data, Non-Personal data or User information to third parties who agree to process such information in accordance with our instructions and provide appropriate technical or other support, in a good faith and belief that such disclosure is reasonably necessary in discharge of their duties. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of any third-party. References on this Site to any names, marks, products or services of third parties or hyperlinks to third party websites or data are provided solely for your convenience and do not in any way constitute or imply our endorsement, sponsorship or recommendation of the third party, data, product or service. We recommend you read the Privacy policies on all such third-party websites.
- We take every possible precaution to ensure that your Personal data is safe and secure. We use a variety of security technologies and procedures to help protect your Personal data from unauthorized access. Our measures to protect your Personal data, primarily include:
- Restricting access of your Personal data to our employees, consultants, agents, service providers, third party and/or similar entities those who have a legitimate need to know the data inorder to perform;
