BECOMING A PANELLIST
CACD’s success so far is inseparably linked with its panel of legal luminaries handling the arbitral/ mediation processes. The thrust is to attract and retain a pool of expert arbitrator’s/ mediators well known for their capabilities, legal expertise and humanistic approach with leverage of unique insights promoting an environment of free exchange of ideas. To become one such panellist with us please fill up the enrolment form highlighting your arbitration and legal experience accordingly. The model requirements are as follows:
- Admission to the CACD Panel (Roll of arbitrators/ mediators) is by invitation from the centre or upon an application being made to the centre.
- CACD reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, to admit or to refuse the admission of any person to the Panel after scrutinizing the form considering the qualification, experience and standing of the applicant.
- CACD also reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, to remove any person from the Panel at any time. While exercising such discretion, CACD will have regard to; inter alia, the integrity, conduct and standing of the panellist.
- CACD will use and retain the personal information’s furnished by a panellist in his/her application form, to the extent and for the purposes it was collected.
- Candidates wishing to apply may make an application in the prescribed format highlighting their arbitration/ mediation experience, together with a non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 20000/- ($250.00 for those from abroad) addressed to the centre.
